…………speaking of Baltimore County, did you know that Baltimore County hires crossing guards?  A discussion was held at our January, 2010 meeting at Hampton Elementary that it would make a great job for the stay-at-home Mom who wants a limited number of hours to work, and if you apply you can specify that you want to be in your own neighborhood.  The contact person at the Baltimore County Traffic Resource Management Unit is Off. Karen Nizer, Head of School Guards, 410-887-7361.

How Do I Submit a News Item?

Our neighborhood includes people in all walks of life. Some are getting married, others are making the honor roll, others are having children. Some of us are making important business strides. Some are recognized for their contributions worldwide. We are a very active neighborhood.

Because there are so many of us: fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, grandfathers, grandmothers, aunts, uncles, spouses, partners, pets, and friends, there's no way we can keep up with such a quantity of news.

As a result, the DVIA relies on you to submit news items for publication.

If you have a news item you'd like to share with the community, please send it to web@dvia.org.
