Who is invited to a DVIA meeting?
All DVIA community meetings are open to the general public. Those individuals running for public office who wish to address the DVIA and/or the community at large may or may not be allocated time based upon time constraints.
What happens at a DVIA meeting?
A DVIA officer calls the meeting to order, and an agenda is distributed. The presiding officer will address all items on the agenda, and solicit votes from the attending board members. Old business is first addressed, and then new business. Community members are encouraged to attend and have their voices heard.
What is DVIA's meeting cancellation policy?
The DVIA does not meet when the Baltimore County School system decides to close school for the day due to a holiday or adverse weather conditions. During the the next meeting, we address the missed items from the cancelled meeting.
