BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING MINUTES

CALL TO ORDER

Max Collins Presiding  7:10 P.M..

MINUTES The minutes stand approved
TREASURER'S REPORT The Treasurer's Report was read and accepted. 
At the last meeting the Board authorized payment of $200 to the Fire Musem for the use of the fire truck during the Santa visit. The a bill was recieved for $250 and the additional $50 was approved by the board. 
COMMITTEE REPORTS -
Community Events
Ellen Birkenthal reported the Santa Visit was a tremendous success.  Bill Frank was the star volunteer.

Easter Egg Hunt.  We need a chair for this event.  Bill Frank will ask his daughter if she is interested.  The Hunt is scheduled for April 4.  

NEWSLETTER Max shared information received by Larry Townsend about an outside organization printing the Newsletter. Adverstising is involved. The discussion was tabled and Ginny Thompson would do a further review.
GTCC No report.
WEBSITE Email addresses are now in Outlook and Tim would like permission to do a mass email to the community.

ZONING / CODE ENFORCEMENT

Galleria: Max reported that the court decision ruled in our favor  They have until January 16 to appeal.   If there is no appeal  we need to let the county attorney know what we expect in enforcement.

Charmuth Traffic Calming - P. J. Connolly, a resident of the 1300 block Charmuth, has volunteered to assist obtaining needed signatures for supporting speed humps oor traffic islands.

OLD BUSINESS New President: Todd Huff has volunteered to take the position of president for one year. The board approved his nomination unanimously
The board unanimously voted that past President Larry Townsend continue his valued role on zoning issues as a Board member for 2009..
NEW BUSINESS A drafetd Dear Neighbor letter was passed out and discussed.  It addresses the need for more volunteers.
